El Fondo de Protección Sostenible (SPF) tiene como objetivo apoyar a las organizaciones o colectivos de derechos humanos que buscan desarrollar sus capacidades en protección digital a largo plazo. Para ello, proporciona subvenciones de hasta €35.000,00 para cubrir actividades por un período máximo de un año
El Fondo puede utilizarse para cubrir gastos que contribuyan reforzar la capacidad de una organización o colectivo para responder a las amenazas digitales. Estos pueden incluir, entre otros
- Apoyo técnico en la implantación de nuevos sistemas en seguridad holística;
- Nuevos ordenadores, servidores o alojamiento de datos o sitios web;
- Procesos de formación o acompañamiento para la seguridad digital u otros aspectos de protección holística;
- Medidas para mejorar la protección física, que apoyan la gestión de la información y la seguridad digital;
- Medidas para abordar el impacto psicológico y psico-social de las amenazas digitales.
Incident Emergency Fund (IEF)
The Incident Emergency Fund responds rapidly to urgent cases of digital threats or attacks against human rights defenders, journalists, activists, or organisations. The funding provided can be up to €10,000 and can be used to cover costs, which will directly reduce the risk or impact of a digital attack.
Fondo de Emergencia ante Incidentes
El Fondo de Emergencia ante Incidentes es nuestro mecanismo de respuesta rápida para personas defensoras de derechos humanos, periodistas, activistas u organizaciones que enfrentan ataques digitales. La subvención proporcionada puede ser de hasta 10,000.00EUR y se puede utilizar para cubrir gastos que reduzcan de forma directa el riesgo o el impacto de un ataque digital.
Regional Partnership Fund (Asia) 2023
The Digital Defenders Partnership (DDP) is currently soliciting applications from Southeast Asia, South Asia and East Asia regions for Regional Partnership Fund. Through Regional Partnership Fund, DDP will support initiatives (organisations or collectives) promoting online freedom and protection of human rights defenders from a holistic perspective, with grants amount as suggested in the invitation email for a period of 1 year (2023-2024).

Sustainable Protection Fund (Asia) 2023
The Digital Defenders Partnership (DDP) is currently soliciting applications from Southeast Asia, South Asia and East Asia regions for Sustainable Protection Fund. The Sustainable Protection Fund (SPF) aims to help human rights organisations or collectives build their long-term digital security capacities. The priority groups for SPF 2023 are human rights lawyer organisations or network, journalists and media legal aid organisations and organisations or network providing support to gender based violence. The SPF scheme provides grants up to €20,000, and covers activities for a maximum of one year.
